Do Not Work Out - Your Blowout
After receiving that wonderful blowout, it can be tough to decide when and how to train so you do not lose your blowout. We are going to share a bit of advice so you do not have to stress.
Pre-workout Routine:
Apply a lightweight dry shampoo onto your scalp to proactively absorb sweat and oils as you workout. Go for a refreshing formula that subtly encourages grip and texture while balancing your scalp’s sebum levels.
After applying dry shampoo, add a lightweight hair oil to the ends of your hair to tame, prevent breakage, and de-frizz strands while you sweat.
Secure your hair in a protective bun to keep strands away from sweat and preserve your style without smashing it. To do this, use a silk scrunchie to gather your hair into a high ponytail. Wrap your ponytail around the base of your hairband and tightly secure with bobby pins. Add a silk headband to keep short pieces out of your face.
Post-workout Routine:
Blow-dry your roots to eliminate dampness and pass over any frizzy strands with your flat iron. Add a spritz of dry shampoo to soak up any leftover oiliness and to add volume.
If your blowout is on its third or fourth day, add an odor neutralizing spray to refresh and extend your style for an extra day!
If all else fails, embrace the wave by curling frizzy parts of your hair with a hair wand. Then add a texturizing, soft-hold hairspray for hold with voluminous movement. Pick a spray that can be easily brushed out without leaving behind a flaky residue.
